GNOME Nettool 3.0.1 released
GNOME Nettool, the network information tool which provides user interfaces for some of the most common command line network tools like ping, whois, traceroute, etc brings out its latest version yet. It has a host of changes and fixes. Read on to find out more on #3.0.1
GNOME Nettool has released GNOME Nettool 3.0.1. There has been a lot from improvements from 3.0.0.
Some of the notable improvements include
- OpenBSD compilation has been fixed
- Netstat routing table display on OpenBSD has been fixed
- Uses finger by default in the place of pinky
- Fix up to make translations work
- Fixed ugliness when window is bigger than expected
- Handled output with icmp_req
- Portability fixes for IPv4/IPv6
- Fixed memory leak
- Fixed garbage in translated string for loopback
- Fixed ping layout to resize it gently
- Has a number of updated and new translations
