How to install Gnash in Ubuntu

GNASH open source alternative

  • Gnash is an open source alternative for the Flash player. It does not yet play all videos. 
  • Install Gnash:
             sudo apt-get install mozilla-plugin-gnash

No gnash plugin with Firefox 3.5

I have the mozilla-plugin-gnash installed but with Firefox 3.5 it doesn't show up in the plugins. Anyone have any ideas?
