Autostarting pidgin at login in Ubuntu

  • Goto System -> Preferences -> Sessions.
  • Click Add. A popup window will appear.
  • Set Name to "Pidgin" and Command to "/usr/bin/pidgin". Click OK. Make sure that it is enabled.
