Xubuntu 12.04 alpha 2 released along with Precise Pangolin Alpha 2...
Xubuntu team has brought out the Alpha 2 release of Xubuntu 12.04,Precise Pangolin. This is in line with the Alpha 2 Release of Ubuntu 12.04. There are a couple of notable updates in the latest release.
The latest release includes the following updates
- New greeter and theme
- xfdesktop4 updated to support single click to open items including thumbnail support for the desktop
- xfce4-settings updated to include the new mouse/touchpad dialog
- various other syncs, updates and patches from Debian and upstream
- Minor updates to default settings and packages, mostly appearance
