VirtualBox is an all-purpose virtualizer that is for x86 hardware specifically targeting desktop,server and embedded use. Install and run as many VMs as you want. It is simple and powerful, and runs on everything from embedded systems to Cloud environments. This is a maintenance release.
The changes/fixes include the following
- fixed screen corruption in VRDP
- fixed screen freeze in VRDP
- fixed a possible crash during ATAPI passthrough with certain guests in ATA
- NAT interface stopped working after a lot of failed ICMP requests
- fixed potential problem with invalid access in guest metrics collection upon VM destruction
- fixed incorrect framebuffer information after leaving the fullscreen mode with X11 guests
- fixed crash under rare circumstances (e.g. client crash)
- fixed broken disk images on import under rare circumstances
- fixed the problem with duplicate packets when bridged to wireless interface
- implemented faster detection of logged-in guest users and stale sessions
- fixes for Linux 3.
