NetBeans IDE 7.1 is the first IDE that supports the latest  in the Java platform, including  JavaFX 2.0 and JDK7. It works on  Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux, other Linux distributions, Mac and Windows.It even offers support for the new Oracle WebLogic Server 12c, thus  bringing  JEE 6 support to developers who create applications on the Oracle WebLogic Server platform. The new release also features Swing GUI Builder enhancements, CSS3 support and tools for visual debugging.

The other notable enhancements include

• Bulk refactoring tools enable project wide corrections and updates to code.
• A new visual debugger helps control execution flow in terms of level structures in the UI.
• Cluster and instance deployment support for GlassFish Server;
• Improved PHP debugging
• New Windows system APIs and support for multiple window layouts
