How to enable automatic login into GNOME in Ubuntu

  • Automatic login is not secure and we don't recommend it. 
  • Here is what you should do.
  • Goto System > Administration > Login Window and select the Security tab. Tick Enable Automatic login and select the user for which this setting has to work. That's it. :)
