Recently I had a chance to install Ubuntu 9.04 in an ASUS EEE PC for a friend of mine. Everything was working smoothly except wireless which was  Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01). Eventhough available drivers were listed on Hardware Driver, it was already in active mode and still not working. Finally i got it working. This error appears to be related to deleting files outside of Ubuntu, and has several Bug listings. If the free disk space on your USB drive is being reported as less than actual, try this:

• More info on how to detect CPU temperatures, fan speeds and voltages using lm-sensors.
• Install and config lm-sensors first as given in the link abovẹ. Then run pwmconfig to test your fans

Before getting started, you will have to install lm-sensors first.
